About Us

Breed Standard ]

Below: Me and Josephine, my first Scottie

My interest in Scotties started with the first Scottie my family had. I was only 2 1/2. The picture of me with my first Scottie is on this page. When my four sons grew up and started their own lives and families, I developed what my sons called ‘empty nest syndrome’ and I got my very own first Scottie. His name was Joe, and I got him from my mentor and friend Barbara DeSaye. See his picture and story on the memorial page.

We breed carefully and thoughtfully in order to maintain the integrity of the breed, with emphasis on health, temperament and disposition. Our breeding results in black, wheaten, and bridle colors.  We only breed our Scotties who have achieved their championships which guarantees that their conformation meets the standard of the breed.
